Shen Chutang stood up. "I'm done talking to you. I need to go to the restroom." After all, Lu Beiqin was coming, and she couldn't afford to drink too much.

"Go ahead!" Ye Pianpian waved her hand carelessly and pulled Zhao Xiangyu onto the dance floor.

After washing her hands, Shen Chutang glanced at herself in the mirror. Not bad—her face wasn't too red, and her hair hadn't come undone. She had just stepped out of the restroom when she bumped into someone's shoulder.

"Sorry," she said.

The man looked down at her with ill intent, whistled, and swaggered off toward his seat.

Shen Chutang couldn't be bothered to argue and went back to look for Ye Pianpian and Zhao Xiangyu, unaware that a pair of eyes had been watching her intently.

"Brother Shui, what are you looking at? You aren't paying attention to me," a woman said with eager affection, leaning against his shoulder, but his gaze remained fixed on Shen Chutang.

Jiang Han finally spoke up, "What are you staring at? Lost your soul?"

Brother Shui gave a sleazy smile, gesturing with his chin toward Shen Chutang's seat. "A woman just tried to seduce me. When she saw I wasn't interested, she left. This is a bar, but she's dressed like a schoolgirl, all pure and innocent. If that's not seduction, what is?"

Jiang Han looked in the direction indicated and his eyes immediately flashed with a vicious gleam. "Shen Chutang!"

Brother Shui was surprised. "You know her?"

Jiang Han's lips curled into a cold smile. "Since you like her so much, how about I help you get her to your room?"

That wretched woman Shen Chutang had made him a laughingstock in front of so many people, forcing him to hide in embarrassment for days, afraid the media would expose everything. In his twenty-odd years, Jiang Han had always gotten his way—he'd never suffered such humiliation. Now, seeing Shen Chutang, this little rabbit, fall straight into the wolves' den, he wasn't about to let her go!

Shen Chutang returned to her seat, but Ye Pianpian and Zhao Xiangyu were nowhere to be seen. She glanced at the dance floor, but it was packed with swaying bodies, and she couldn't spot them at all.

Just then, a waiter approached. "Are you Miss Shen Chutang?"

She looked at him. "I am."

"Your friend is drunk, out in the back alley. Please take her home. She seems to have had a lot to drink."

Shen Chutang stood up. "Please lead the way."

The waiter walked ahead, guiding Shen Chutang toward the back.

"Is it a girl or a boy? Are they alone?" she asked.

The waiter just nodded. "Yes."

Shen Chutang followed him down a staff hallway, where there were no customers. Strange—could it be Ye Pianpian who drank too much? But what about Zhao Xiangyu? Surely he wouldn't let her run wild alone. Despite her doubts, Shen Chutang followed the waiter to the back door.

As the door opened, Shen Chutang felt an inexplicable sense of unease.

"After you," said the waiter.

She stepped outside, and suddenly, the man dressed as a waiter grabbed her from behind, pulling out a drug-soaked handkerchief and pressing it over her mouth and nose.

Shen Chutang immediately held her breath, driving her elbow into his body and quickly breaking free.

Just then, several men emerged from the shadows of the alley, surrounding her.

She instantly recognized the man she had bumped into outside the restroom and another—Jiang Han.

There were five of them in all, and they clearly didn't see Shen Chutang as a threat.

Jiang Han, full of arrogance, stepped forward, his gaze venomous and contemptuous. "Shen Chutang, who would have thought you'd fall into my hands one day?"

Shen Chutang looked at him, sneering coldly. "Last time, I wonder who ended up crying and sniveling after getting beaten. It's only been a few days—so eager to experience it again?"

Jiang Han's face darkened instantly. "Don't get ahead of yourself!"

He signaled to the others, and they rushed toward Shen Chutang.

But she paid them little mind.

Brother Shui, seeing so many men failing to subdue a young woman, immediately felt a surge of conquest. He tore off his shirt and tossed it aside, lunging to grab Shen Chutang from behind—only for her to dodge him neatly.

Jiang Han shouted, "Brother Shui, what's wrong? Such a stimulating woman—just pin her down!"

Brother Shui stared at Shen Chutang with ill intent. A beauty like her was rare in the capital; she was so clean and pure, it made him want to drag her into the depths of darkness and rot with her!

He pulled down his pants halfway, flaunting himself at Shen Chutang.

She paused, then scoffed, "So small, and you dare show it off?"

Brother Shui's eyes widened. "You filthy woman! If I don't teach you a lesson today, you won't know how powerful I am!"

Shen Chutang's face was cold with mockery. "What, did I hurt your pride?"

Suddenly, one of the men shouted and, from who knows where, pulled out a fishing net, casting it over Shen Chutang.

She was about to draw her knife, but her body stiffened at once—they were carrying stun guns!
