“Ladies and gentlemen, the D122 train from Qionghai City to Bincheng is about to arrive. Please board in an orderly fashion.”
The familiar announcement echoed in his ears once again. Curling his lips in a slight sneer, he walked forward.
Damn it, it's always the same old thing—when will the Railway Bureau ever do something different?
Leng Qianyou clung to his sleeve, afraid of getting lost—after all, she had never taken a train before.
People all around stared in awe at the coldly beautiful woman, wondering if she was a celebrity.
They could tell she wore no makeup, her skin as delicate as a newborn's, a pair of large sunglasses obscuring her lovely eyes.
Despite the biting cold, she was dressed lightly.
A casual coat draped over her shoulders, beneath was a red sweater, a plaid miniskirt, nude stockings on her long legs, and limited-edition high heels.
No one knew where she’d learned to dress like that, but she was certainly a sight to behold.
Others might think having a stunning woman by his side was a blessing, but Qin Yang saw it differently. He was convinced Leng Qianyou had a purpose for sticking with him, though she had yet to reveal her intentions.
He knew, in truth, that the only bridge between their interests was perhaps the Blood Infant Fruit.
When the train arrived, the two of them joined the crowd and boarded slowly. Perhaps because the year’s end was approaching, the train was packed with people.
Meanwhile, in the ancient martial world, a great upheaval was taking place.
Xishan County had become the focus of a major investigation.
Of a thousand-strong expedition, only five returned alive.
Among them were Zhang Kuang of Tianwu Sect, several other martial artists, and, unexpectedly, Yu Chen, who had also managed to escape.
The news of the Enlightenment Fruit spread like wildfire, especially with Yu Chen fanning the flames—once again, Beihai’s Qin Yang became famous for having obtained six Enlightenment Fruits.
Unfortunately, no one knew who he truly was. When the survivors escaped, they hadn’t even seen him, nor knew if he was still alive.
The Enlightenment Fruit was coveted not only by ordinary martial artists, but even the most powerful were tempted.
Immediately, the entire ancient martial world mobilized, searching for clues. Soon, they uncovered one of great value: a bounty had been placed long ago for someone named Qin Yang. Though it was unclear if it was the same person, countless martial artists set out to track him down.
The Demon Sect and Sword Sect were furious—the beloved daughter of one and the prized disciple of the other had both failed to return. The Chen family, with Chen Tian at the forefront, was especially agitated, but Chen Tian had vanished without a trace.
Their fury turned to the Three-Eyed Evil King’s clan. Several factions joined forces, and in an instant, the once-mighty family vanished into the river of time.
The ancient martial world was in turmoil. Numerous martial artists entered the mundane world, alarming the Dragon Group. They urgently mobilized their forces and placed the martial world under secret surveillance. Meanwhile, Zhanlong summoned the great powers of the martial world for talks, but to little effect.
Wang Kun, Shao Bing, Wang Hao, and Ye Meier waited a full month for Qin Yang in vain, their worry only deepening as more martial artists arrived, inquiring about Beihai’s Qin Yang. The four quietly slipped out of Xishan County and went into hiding.
When Wang Kun and Shao Bing overheard a martial artist discussing the matter, their hearts were struck with shock.
Of the more than two hundred martial artists who entered, all were slain by Qin Yang.
What kind of deep-seated hatred drove such a massacre?
At the same time, they feared for Qin Yang’s safety. Fortunately, no one had found him yet—otherwise, a storm would have erupted.

In a poisonous mountain hollow of the ancient martial world, a young man, drenched in blood, stared at the corpse at his feet and laughed madly.
“Three-Eyed Evil King, so you’ve met your end at last. All those years of hoarding resources, now they’re mine.”
Red light flickered in the young man’s eyes—a sign of demonic possession—but he didn’t care. Killing the Three-Eyed Evil King was beyond his wildest dreams.
He took out a crimson fruit and swallowed it whole.
“When I emerge from seclusion, I, Wu Jian, will sweep the ancient martial world. Qin Yang, you must die.”
Aboard the train, Qin Yang was oblivious to the fact that he was already on someone’s mind. Even if he knew, he wouldn’t have cared.
Just another defeated foe—if you can grow stronger, does that mean I won’t?
Leng Qianyou sat across from Qin Yang, hands full of snacks, eating nonstop.
A tablet lay beside her, headphones on, giggling uncontrollably.
Her melodious laughter, pure as the sound of nature, paired with her captivating beauty, left the entire carriage silent, no one daring to interrupt.
Her chest rose and fell with each breath, leaving the “wolves” among the passengers utterly entranced.
Damn, not only is she beautiful, she’s got the figure to match. If only I could touch her—how wonderful that would be.
Completely absorbed in her drama, she was oblivious to the predatory stares directed at her.
As the train sped along, the passengers included migrant workers, white-collar types, and mostly ordinary folks.
Gazing out the window, Qin Yang drifted into thought, until someone tapped him on the shoulder.
“Hey, buddy, how about swapping seats with me?”
“Five hundred?”
“Five hundred?” He shook his head. “Five hundred is too little.”
Smiling, he continued, “Sitting here, looking at such a beauty, is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Even without speaking, just enjoying the sight can lift one’s spirits, wouldn’t you agree?”
The rich man pondered, sensing there was truth in Qin Yang’s words. “Alright, how much do you want? But I’m telling you, I won’t pay anything outrageous.”
Qin Yang shook his head again. “You’ve got it wrong—it’s not what I want, it’s what you’re willing to give. How much do you think this seat is worth?”
The rich man, only half understanding, tentatively asked, “How about two thousand?”
“Deal.” Their little exchange went unnoticed by most, but not by Leng Qianyou, who snorted inwardly—men are all the same.
Qin Yang was overjoyed. Giving up a seat, he’d already made back the cost of his ticket and meals. For the first time, he saw that this woman had her uses.
The rich man now sat opposite Leng Qianyou, heeding Qin Yang’s advice not to disturb her, but instead staring at her intently.
Her eyes sparkled like stars, her nose upturned just right, her lips curved in a subtle arc—every frown and smile seemed to tug at his heartstrings.
In an instant, he felt a rush of infatuation.

He believed a second spring had arrived for him, and dropped to his knees. “Miss, I may not know your name, but your beauty, your kindness, your charm have all seeped into my very soul. Marry me!”
“You may not know me yet. My name is Zhao Erniu. My family owns ten thousand acres of fertile land, with millions in savings, on the hill next to Wangjia Village by Xianggelishe. If you marry me, you’ll be the richest woman in the village—bar none.” Zhao Erniu spoke with utter sincerity.
At this, Qin Yang nearly burst out laughing.
“Marry him!”
He called out with a grin, and the rich man looked at him with gratitude.
The surrounding passengers, ever eager for excitement, joined in. “Marry him!” they chanted.
Leng Qianyou had never faced such a spectacle; her cheeks flushed red, and just as she fell into a dilemma, a sudden commotion erupted.
“This is a robbery!”
“A robbery?” Zhao Erniu’s eyes widened, and he leaped up, shielding Leng Qianyou, much to her mixed amusement and exasperation.
Before them stood three men, weapons in hand, the carriage filling with cries of alarm. They were desperados, choosing this time of year—right before the holiday—knowing everyone’s pockets would be full.
Qin Yang’s gaze turned cold as he watched the three, his mood soured by their interruption of the lively scene.
Blades flashed in their hands as the passengers scrambled for cover, terror etched on their faces.
Suddenly, a silvery, bell-like laugh rang out—so unexpected and brazen that even at a time like this, someone could still laugh.
Damn, she’s got some nerve.
When the robbers caught sight of Leng Qianyou, they were stunned—swearing they had never seen such a beautiful woman in their lives.
Seeing Zhao Erniu shielding her, they shoved him aside.
Zhao Erniu tried to get up, but a blade was pressed to his chest.
“Best not move, unless you want to die right now,” Wang Yang growled menacingly, as if discussing something trivial.
“Hello, beautiful. My name is Wang Yang, the mastermind behind this robbery.”
After introducing himself, he failed to get the reaction he expected, and was left dumbfounded.
Leng Qianyou blinked and asked, “And then?”
What the hell—“And then”?! Shouldn’t you pretend to be afraid and throw yourself into my arms?
“Wang Yang, stop pretending to be civilized. We’ve got them where we want them—just get on with it.”
As one of them reached for her, Leng Qianyou was about to strike, but Qin Yang moved first—if she acted, the man’s hand would surely be severed.
