Ye Lingling, possessing a quiet and reticent nature, offered a faint smile and a slight nod toward them.

Oslo and Yu Feng observed the two children with curiosity; they had been skeptical when Xue Ke first mentioned them. To think that two children had already attained a soul power level of over fifteen—it was truly monstrous.

"Nice to meet you, seniors. Please look after us," Ning Xi said with a smile. She found this group quite agreeable.

Jun Han gave a cold, indifferent nod, though the others paid his demeanor no mind. They assumed that being in a new and unfamiliar environment made him a bit shy, which was perfectly normal.

The waitstaff soon brought their meal. As young nobles, they had no need to fetch their own food; they simply found a table and waited for the staff to serve them.

"By the way, little Ning Xi, what are your martial souls? And what are your soul power levels?" Xue Ke asked, gracefully picking up a piece of meat with her chopsticks.

"My martial soul is a sword, and my soul power is level 18," Ning Xi replied.

"My martial soul is a brain, and my soul power is level 18," Jun Han added.

Upon hearing Ning Xi’s level, the group widened their eyes in surprise, but Jun Han’s martial soul left them bewildered. A brain? What kind of martial soul was that? It was so bizarre.

"A brain? What kind of martial soul is that? How strange. I’ve never heard of it," Xue Ke asked, intrigued.

Ning Xi offered a quick explanation of the brain martial soul. The group finally understood, but they couldn't help but gasp. A body-type martial soul? It was simply incredible! And to think both of them were already at level 18!

Dugu Yan and Yu Tianheng’s pupils constricted. They stared at the two children in disbelief—they were only seven years old!

"Holy crap! You two are monsters!" Shi Mo slammed his hand on the dining table, causing the entire thing to rattle.

"Sit down! What are you slamming the table for?" Oslo shot him a glare. He was stunned, too, but there was no need to get so worked up.

"Little Ning Xi, I never expected you two to be so powerful. No wonder your brother insisted on bringing you here himself," Xue Ke remarked with a sigh. She paused, then continued, "But this is perfect. I’m a student of the same grade as you, the Tianwei rank. My soul power is only at level 22, and I’m just a little short of reaching the Tianzhi rank."

"I was worried I wouldn't have anyone at my level, but now I finally have you two, hehe," Xue Ke chuckled.

However, she suddenly remembered that the Tianwei rank was divided into many different classes, and her mood dampened slightly.

"Sister Xue Ke is very impressive as well," Ning Xi said sincerely.

"Hey, little junior, what kind of sword is your martial soul? Your talent must be extraordinary to cultivate at such a speed," Yu Feng asked curiously.

Ning Xi replied, "My martial soul is the Seven-Kill Sword, and I am innately full-powered. Jun Han is also innately full-powered."

"Seven-Kill Sword?! Innately full-powered?!"

The group gasped in unison. That was the Seven-Kill Sword, one of the greatest weapon martial souls in the world. To be innately full-powered on top of that—such talent was truly enviable.

"No wonder..."

Yu Tianheng, who had secretly harbored a sense of superiority, felt humbled by the two children. It was true: there is always someone better, and a sky beyond the sky.

"Haha, little Ning Xi, you’ve truly opened our eyes. We’re friends from now on," Xue Ke said, patting Ning Xi on the shoulder with genuine warmth.

After spending some time together, the group grew closer, and their rapport deepened.

That night, Ning Xi went to the quiet hills behind the academy. She kept the words of Sword Douluo close to heart: one must practice sword techniques every day without fail and strive to comprehend their essence. She felt quite happy to have made so many friends so soon.

The next morning, Ning Xi put on her school uniform and student ID. She and Jun Han met Teacher Jiang Xue, who had come to collect them.

"Teacher Jiang," Ning Xi said, giving a slight nod in greeting.

Jiang Xue offered a gentle smile. "Let’s go." She had taken quite a liking to these two children; they were well-behaved, sensible, and, most importantly, exceptionally gifted. It would certainly look good on her record.

When they arrived at the classroom, the chatter inside died down instantly, and every gaze focused on Ning Xi and Jun Han. They were struck by the children's appearance, then confused, and finally disinterested. Were these not the two kids seen in the cafeteria yesterday? They had assumed they were a teacher’s children; they hadn't expected them to actually be students.

"Class, these two will be joining our Third Class. Everyone, please get along," Jiang Xue said, before turning to the children. "Ning Xi, Jun Han, please introduce yourselves."

Ning Xi nodded and smiled slightly. "Hello everyone, my name is Ning Xi. My martial soul is the Seven-Kill Sword, and I am a level 18 assault-type soul master."

Jun Han said expressionlessly, "Jun Han. My martial soul is Intellect Domain, and I am a level 19 assault-type soul master."

True to their reputations: few words, cold, and immensely talented.

A buzz of conversation erupted in the previously quiet classroom.

"Whoa! No wonder the academy allowed them in."

"That little girl has the Seven-Kill Sword? What is her relationship to Sword Douluo?"

"That’s the young lady of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan. Her martial soul is the Seven-Kill Sword, and she’s innately full-powered!"

Someone whispered this to their neighbor, though only those closest could hear. It was a piece of gossip they had picked up from rumors.

"Damn! I’d better be careful not to offend them."

"But who is the little boy next to her? What is his connection to the young lady?"

The students whispered among themselves, casting complex glances at the two newcomers.

Jiang Xue nodded in satisfaction. "Go find yourselves seats," she told Ning Xi.

Ning Xi acknowledged her and led Jun Han to a desk in the back by the window. Many were still whispering, but no one dared to approach them. Some had intended to curry favor, but the icy aura radiating from Jun Han kept them at bay.

With no one bothering them, Ning Xi listened to the lecture while observing the academy. The morning was for theory, and the afternoon was for independent cultivation.

By the time classes ended and they headed to the cafeteria, news of the two children had already spread throughout the Tianwei-rank students.

The academy was filled with nobles of all sorts, and there were always a few who lacked the sense to know their place.

Just as the two were planning to check out the simulated cultivation areas, a boy with his arms crossed approached them. He wore an arrogant expression; he wasn't particularly ugly, just ordinary. He was followed by four or five boys of similar age who seemed to defer to him.

Clearly, he was unaware of Ning Xi’s background. The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan hadn't disclosed her information, and Xue Ke’s group wouldn't go out of their way to advertise it, nor did they care to mingle with such low-level nobles.

He stopped by Ning Xi’s desk, a dark glint in his eyes. "Ning Xi, is it? I’m Wang Chu. You look pretty good. How about being my girlfriend? I’ll look after you in this academy. What do you say?"

He had never seen a girl so stunning before. He was only eleven, just a few years older than Ning Xi, and he was confident he could win her over. The academy was full of beauties, some striking and some plain, but this was a rare gem.
