But just then, the lights in the room suddenly went out completely. Amid the chaos, Will heard a voice: “Run!”

He was shoved forward, and when he came to, he had fallen out the window, the businessman’s daughter beside him. They landed on a truck loaded with cardboard boxes beneath the hotel.

“Will…who was that?”

“I’m not sure, seemed like someone familiar, but I can’t recall right now,” Will hesitated. “Let’s leave, quickly.”

Following this, Will and his companion continued robbing the world’s time banks, quickly sparking a full-blown time crisis.

The headquarters of the Time Planning Bureau descended into panic and chaos. Many staff resigned, defensive forces dwindled daily, and time administrators scattered like rats, fleeing everywhere.

The long-lost system voice sounded. Zhao Nan exhaled; Fenina quietly accompanied him.

“What will happen to the people of this world now that it’s gone?”

“I don’t know…” Zhao Nan shook his head, walked up to the control panel, and quickly entered a line of text.
